WS-C3850-24U-E Overview
The Cisco WS-C3850-24U-E features a stackable configuration, comprising 24 10/100/1000 Cisco UPOE ports. Additionally, it includes 1 network module slot, a robust 1100 W power supply, and a space-saving 1RU chassis. Positioned within the Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series, its primary objective is to seamlessly support the convergence of wired and wireless access. Central to this capability is its reliance on the new Cisco Unified Access Data™ Plane (UADP) Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). This ASIC empowers uniform wired-wireless policy enforcement, application visibility, flexibility, and application optimization. Further enhancing this convergence is the integration of the new and improved Cisco StackWise®-480 technology. Consequently, this ensures enhanced resilience and reliability in networking environments.
